Start with available time

Subtract meetings, appointments, travel, and fixed commitments before entering your time window. This planner does not read your calendar. Use a separate window for the time before and after a meeting.

Leave room for work that runs late

The default reserves 20% of the window. In two hours, that means 24 minutes for breaks and surprises and 96 minutes for tasks. This is a planning choice you can change, not a promise about how long work will take.

See what fits instead of overbooking

Tasks are scheduled in the order you enter them. If the next task is too long, the remaining window becomes a first pass on that task. Unfinished work appears separately so you can plan another window.

For example, a 45-minute proposal and a 30-minute call fit inside 96 minutes. A third 30-minute task gets a 21-minute first pass, with nine minutes left for later.
